Research studies submitted to the Trees for Life Journal must comply with the highest ethical standards. For research involving human subjects, all participants must give their informed consent. All clinical trials are expected to be conducted according to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. We suggest that researchers submit a sample patient consent form along with their article, and we may request to receive one in some situations.
